Northamptonshire: 8th-12th April Byfield School has been rescheduled to take place at Culworth School OX17 2BB (No wrap around care will be avaiable at these sessions)
We have confrimed today (16th January 2013) that a week long session 'Science in Motion' will run at Derby Grammar School between 29th July - 2nd August. There will be no wrap around care available at this camp.
Through interactive discussions and exciting hands on activities, our kids’ camps instill a clearer understanding of how science affects the world around us.
We encourage the children to be inquisitive and ask searching questions. And of course, we have fun!
Our promise to you
At Mad Science we think we're pretty awesome at providing exciting and enriching holiday camps. But don't just take our word for it, look at what our customers have said over the years!
I would like to say that both my boys, who attended the mad science camp in Leicester in the last week of July, were very happy with leadership, programme and care. They enjoyed experiments a lot and they were even keen on staying after the programme to play longer. I am very grateful for such an excellent service as we travelled from Poland to England in order to give the boys opportunity to take part in the camp. I am very happy that they found it so interesting. Thank you very much.
Monika Kubik-Kwiatkowska, August 2012
Just wanted to let you know how much the kids enjoyed their one day at Mad Science, they hadn't been to a kids club before which is even more of a credit to you all. Thanks and Best wishes Sue

My son Jack has just had a wonderful week at the West Bridgford School Science all around us Theme. I am writing to say thank you - he has come back every day full of enthusiasm and thriilled to be going back the next day, he complains when we picked him up earlier on occasions! He has talked so much about the projects and group work and loved having a chance to also decide on the activities at the beginning and end of the day. He seems to have really enjoyed making new friends and the hands on workshops. Thank you so much, we will certainly be recommending it to all our friends!
Carol Magner, February 2012
I thought the course was excellent - well-organised, friendly and Timothy enjoyed it. I would definitely make another booking.
Both Robyn and Ben had great fun at Mad Science. Its the first time Ben has attended a holiday camp but we needn't have been concerned as he thoroughly enjoyed it and was full of beans when repeating some of the things they had done throughout each day. Both children made some new friends too which helped of course with having fun. We've heard so much about Loopy Lynda too.
Jo Slater, Nottingham,
Lucy totally enjoyed everything about the camp, to the point she asked if she could go for the whole of the next summer holidays.
She has learned a lot too, which is excellent as had fun whilst learning too. The admin process was excellent, together with joining instructions there was no ambiguity. Scientists were lovely and knowledgeable, and I liked the secure environment for the children.
Lucy O'Hanlon's mum, Derby,
My son attended a summer camp last year and really enjoyed his week. He came back enthused each day about the tasks he had taken part in and was keen to return the next day! He learnt loads during the week without even realizing he was learning, as it was all in a fun environment led by wacky mad scientists!
Just a note to say that the children loved their two days at Mad Science in Oadby at Easter - special thanks to Doctor Tim and Magnetic Minesh
Jackie Ellis, Leicester,
My son indicated he wanted to attend another day with Mad Science as soon as I picked him up.He has done the after school club at Costock School and loved it there and loved the day he had at Bridgford.
Can you please pass on my thanks to your Team at Chetwynd Road School. My daughter, Ciara, thoroughly enjoyed her time at the holiday club and thought the activities and the Team were great. As it was the first time she had been to the Mad Science holiday club, we only signed her up for a couple of days. However, she loved it so much that she will definitely be signing up for more days next time!
Thanks once again.
Lisa Morgan, Nottinghamshire,
I just wanted to write and thank you all for the fantastic 2 weeks that Kabir had at Mad Science Summer Camp. After attending the after school club he was instantly wanting to go to the summer camp and has been looking forward to it since then.
The staff made sure that he had a wonderful and enjoyable learning experience and it is something he will remember for a long time. I am already looking forward to him attending the next camp in 2010 and I am sure he will be bringing along friends, as since he left he has done nothing but talk non stop about "Mad Science this, Nuclear Nat this, Atomic Andrew that"!
Wish you all the best and congrats on a fab job :)
Aneeta Awan, Nottinghamshire,
I just wanted to give to positive feedback for Beeston.
My daughter Katie Davis and her friend Martha, have been to the Beeston camp this week and had an amazing time. I could tell from the moment I dropped Katie off on Monday by the great welcome we both received from Amy and Ameeta that she would enjoy it.
Katie has been full of all the activities and the great leaders all week and wants to go back for more !!
In a time when we are all very ready to complain I thought it was appropriate to say a massive Thank you for all your hard work in making this a success.
Well Done and Thanks again.
Caroline Davies, Nottinghamshire,
"It was the best day ever. I love my life."
The above quote is from a 7 year old girl called Orla Keenan-Page who is attending the Mad Science summer camp at Brookside Primary School, Oadby.
My daughter had a great time today at the Derby camp. I haven't had chance yet to talk with her about it, but apparently she came home very happy. Please pass on my thanks to the team.
Mr Joyce, Derbyshire,
My son Luca is wonderful, but needs to be constantly stimulated - you delivered! He rarely leaves these things with much to say but I couldn't shup him up - he absolutely loved it - dinosaurs, fossils, crystals, minerals, just up his street - thank you!
Louise Fraser, Nottinghamshire,
So pleased that Harry could come to your camp at Bramcote. It was a lifesaver for me. It provided an interesting, stimulating and very different week. Thankyou to everyone.
Helen Franklin, Nottinghamshire,
Sophie enjoyed her time at Mad Science and was eager to go everyday.
Michelle Rouse, Nottinghamshire,
I thought the two days that I spent at the camps were both fun and interesting. The Mad Scientists were great. They made the day very interesting and funny. I thank everyone who was involved in running the camp for making the camp a truly enjoyable time.
Harry Parker, Nottinghamshire,
My two children have an attachment disorder but felt perfectly safe and fully entertained. They learned great facts but felt under no pressure as they do in school. WELL DONE!
Ellen Hodgkin, Leicester,
Tom has attended two Mad Science After-School Clubs at Fairfield Primary and has thoroughly enjoyed them, hence why he attended in the Half Term. He particularly wanted to do the spy camp and really enjoyed it. As a parent it is great that you offer something a bit different to the norm - educational but enjoyable and the 'wrap around' care is a big bonus!
Tom says: "Absolutely Great!" All the people that run the camp are fabulous. I really enjoyed my day and I will definitely come again. Thanks.
Thanks to Vicky, Rik, Charlotte and Tom's favourite Dan! He would love you to visit his school again.
Sue Williams, Nottingham
Archie really enjoys the camps and is very happy to come which is reassuring. We will definitely be using the Easter and Summer camp and hope you will run the after school at Banks Road, Toton again.
Carron Layfield, Nottingham,
Tyka enjoyed himself so much he would love to go to a Mad Science camp again.
Jane Esmaeili, Nottingham,
Jack loved every minute and hasn't stopped telling people about Mad Science.
Claire Grantham, Nottinghamshire,
Harvey loved the camp and the birthday party we had. Thank you very much!
Lydia Boardman, Leicestershire,
(My daughter) was initially worried about going on her own, but she loved it, made lots of new friends and had great fun (and learned about science at the same time!) Thanks so much for making it so enjoyable.
Gill Allen, West Bridgford,
The staff were excellent and provided a very personal service/attitude that helped my children feel at ease.
Sarah Scott, West Bridgford
Excellent - thankyou, my daughter loved it.
Lisa McGee, Nottinghamshire,
The club was fantastic - my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it - and even went on a day when she felt poorly because she didn't want to miss it. She now wants to do the After School Club. Thank you
Lorrain Than, Nottinghamshire,
I think it's important to keep children interested in science by making it fun whilst they are learning. The team are young and dynamic and I hope they continue!
Christine Ranson, Nottinghamhire,
Really like the way the scientific principles are taught in a fun way, with some experiments and hands on experience. Quite different to the approach adopted in schools but builds on work done during school term time.
Mona Housden, Nottinghamshire,
The boys thoroughly enjoyed the camp, they liked the Mad Scientists especially. I felt the initial welcome was very good, friendly, funny and not at all regimented - just right for a holiday club.Pippa Hall, West Bridgford,
