My son loves Mad Science, he has done it for 2 years in a row and is always gutted when the course comes to an end. The only suggestion I would make is that when there is a more complex task there should be 2 Scientists from Mad Science to help. There was one week when they made a bridge when the teacher did not have time to help everyone finish them and my son was quite upset when he came out. I had arrived early to pick him up and saw him through the window with his hand up for some time. Then everyone started lining up and he was still sat there waiting. Otherwise he had lots of fun, his favourite week was the last one where they made a pyramid and balanced different things on it. Thank you

After School Clubs
My 7 year old really enjoyed going to the after school science club. She particularly liked the practical learning and bringing things home to explain concepts to the rest of the family! The staff were interesting and entertaining. She says that she would definitely go again.

My 5 year old boy loved it, completely inspired with growing his own diamond (if only)
and the mad scientist made him laugh too!

I was initially annoyed it wouldn't let me book online and the flyers posted the wrong day , however once my daughter started she loved them, and couldn't wait to tell me about the experiments they had learnt. She also really liked the teachers. I would definitely recommend these sessions.

After School Clubs
My daughter definitely enjoyed Mad Science, and always came home with lots to say. Two minor issues: firstly, the spread of ages meant that some of the little ones had to have a lot of help, often from the older ones - perhaps a narrower age band might be better; secondly, when Mad Science came into school to do an assembly, they made explosions etc and made it look very exciting - my daughter (and others) was disappointed at the lack of explosions etc. Plenty of Science, not much Mad. Having said that, she still really enjoyed the club and I would certainly be happy for her to do another.
